Last Thursday PitE Club took over the Dana Commons to kick off our Building Environmental Awareness and Relationships (BEAR) Mentorship program. We had a great turn out for this first event, it could have been because of the yummy Jerusalem Garden food that was catered, but I have a feeling that the environmental students at U of M were just excited to meet others that they relate to. Our ice breaker game was a fun way to get to know all the new people, while the “speed dating” was quick way for the undergrads to pry into the graduate’s heads.
Thanks to all that came, we can’t wait to see you again.
Be on the look out for mentor profiles that will be going up soon, as well as our next BEAR event!
